In America, three-quarters of citizens believe in the existence of UFOs Unidentified Flying Object, Unidentified Flying Object or UAP, according to the new name). In Italy, just 20% of the population believes in the existence of these phenomena and even less in the existence of aliens in general.
Many people have never thought about the presence of physical and tangible evidence of UFO sightings, and consider it all a "huge lie" even (perhaps above all) when commenting on the latest news on the various disclosures taking place in the USA.
Last year, the Pentagon looked at data from the UFO sightings. Apparently, what has been discovered is so substantial that it has prompted experts to set up a task force to investigate objects.
Fake news about UFOs: if you know them, you recognize them
Yet, the University of Michigan appears to have a decidedly opposite opinion. A has recently been made available free course lasting two weeks, aimed at students who want to know more. Or, more than anything else, they want to orient themselves among the thousands of fake news that dot the theme.
During the participation period, children will be taught how to identify and report sightings, reporting news and reliable data.
The University of Michigan follows a common course of action: know as much as possible. The free course will help students recognize "plausible" events from "improbable" ones. To participate, no previous experience is required. All students need is enthusiasm and a desire for knowledge.
One element of preference is related to the use of video analysis techniques to study various UFO reports. The goal is to find possible explanations for different phenomena. Students will discover signs that are worth watching out for and what makes a sighting interesting. In this way, the authenticity of the footage can be demonstrated much more easily and confidently.
