Behind this name which to define as "coded" is an understatement, Samsung hides a biometric card with a unique combination: fingerprint sensor, security element (SE) and secure processor (SP) on a single chip. If you add a proprietary algorithm for fingerprint authentication and anti-spoofing technology (even the one integrated directly into the card) you will understand that it is a very advanced solution.
Lo spoofing is a technique used to trick authentication systems into believing that the user is another person. This can be done by using a fake fingerprint or biometric scan, or simply by providing false information. Spoofing can be used to gain access to restricted areas or to commit fraud and represents a serious security threat. The Samsung biometric card incorporates anti-spoofing technology to protect against this type of attack.

“It's the cybersecurity industry's first all-in-one security chip,” I read from the Samsung release. “It reads biometric information through a fingerprint sensor, stores and authenticates the tamper-proof encrypted data, and processes the data securely.”
How to use the biometric card? All you have to do is place it on a POS while keeping your thumb on the built-in sensor. Goodbye PIN! It's not true, there is always a PIN in case of emergency, but everything is done so that the system does without it in 99% of cases: safer, of course, but also more convenient.
