Nadia Lahrichi and his sons Veronique and Kamil created a gadgets edible that caught my attention. It is a sort of edible sticks that change the dynamics of use typical of condiments.
As if they were crayons, these ingenious "food tools" are directly "tempered" on dishes to add flavor.
Don't they bring back old memories? I'm sure you would never admit it, but some of you will have already tried to bite into real crayons, back in kindergarten.
Seasoning pastels: will they become mass?

Lahrichi sells single crayons for around € 13 (with sharpener included) in packs of three crayons for around € 27.
One hundred colors, one hundred flavors
Crayons are available in a wide variety of flavors. At the time of writing I read about basil, chipotle, shallot, lemon, raspberry and balsamic vinegar, spicy mango, chilli and garlic, piña colada, black garlic, fig and balsamic, curry and turmeric, tomato and thyme, ginger, carrot and orange ginger, lime, honey mustard, mandarin and cinnamon, grapefruit and timut pepper, mushrooms and yuzu coconut.
Despite the name "crayons", there is no wax in these Food Crayons: if you really love the wax aroma you can always sharpen a traditional wax crayon.
Why do I keep imagining my guests spitting their salad into their napkins after tasting a dish “decorated” with these crayons?
