From 24 to 26 May 2024, the MEET Digital Culture Center in Milan will host the first edition of the "Futuro Prossimo" festival. Organized by Codice Edizioni and the Be You Association, with the support of the Bolton Hope Foundation and the Cariplo Foundation. The event aims to create a dialogue between students, families, teachers and sector professionals to rethink the education system and prepare it for future challenges (MEET) (Minotaur).
The Festival Programme
The festival includes three days full of activities. There will be workshops, workshops, conferences, round tables and shows. In fact, each day will be dedicated to different aspects of education and social innovation. The goal? Engage all participants in a constructive debate. The activity times are as follows:
- Friday 24 May. 09: 30 - 20: 30.
- Saturday 25 May. 10: 00 - 20: 30.
- Sunday 26 May. 11: 00 - 19: 30.
Among the main initiatives there will also be: Immersive Experiences, where visitors they will be able to explore the future of art and society through videos and images, using virtual reality viewers. Workshops and meetings
Another highlight of the festival will be the “ZOOMLAB” workshop. Edited by ADMaiora, uses technologies advanced like DIPLE digital microscopes. These tools allow students to explore the microscopic world through their smartphones or tablets. Objective? Promote interactive and engaging learning. This laboratory aims to bring young people closer to scientific disciplines and support them in orientation scholastic and professional.

Exhibitions and exhibitions
One of the most anticipated exhibitions is “Forever Young. The Dorian Gray Syndrome”, which explores the contemporary obsession with youth through the works of twelve digital artists. This exhibition not only displays works of art, but also offers an immersive experience that invites visitors to reflect on the impact of digital on the perception of oneself and time.
Conferences and Talks
The festival will see the participation of many experts and speakers internationally renowned. Among the guests? Thinkers, innovators and artists who will contribute their ideas and visions to the debate on the education of the future. One of the important meetings will be the one with Matteo Lancini, psychologist and psychotherapist. Held on May 25th a conference entitled “Be yourself my way. Emotions, families, technologies”. This talk will focus on the interaction between emotions, family dynamics and modern technologies, and their impact on adolescents.
