Full-size interactive 3D holograms, fully controllable thanks to holographic technology, motion tracking and augmented reality, will change the face of live events and corporate meetings.
Hypervsn, a startup that develops holograms, presented a holographic technology absolutely innovative. These are life-size and augmented reality holograms that offer users the opportunity to step into the shoes of an avatar, whether it has their own appearance or those of any other character.
Imagine a live event where the user can check out a life-sized hologram, or a corporate event where CEOs can give presentations "in person" from anywhere in the world.

How do interactive holograms work?
A holographic installation projects a full-sized three-dimensional image of your choice. Meanwhile, a tracking system scans your body and "matches" the movements to the holographic one.
From that moment on, the hologram will interact exactly like its "twin".
"There is an incredibly broad demand for this technology," he says Mark Smith, owner and CEO of 3D Hologram Rentals, another company in the interactive hologram industry. "Meetings, private events, marketing campaigns, everyone is excited to be in control of this technology."
Something similar to Portl technology that I have already presented to you, but detached from a "holographic booth" and decidedly more oriented towards entertainment.

Possible applications of interactive holograms
Industry analysts foresee a wide range of applications for this technology.
Instruction
Full motion control holograms can be a great training and education tool. It could be used excellently in schools and universities: I am thinking of anatomy or physics lessons.
Marketing
Is there a better way to market a new product, clothing line, brand or film than to get viewers to join in the action?
Collaboration
Full-size holograms can make collaboration over great distances easier. A marketing manager can present a product in Rome while physically in New York.
Entertainment
Holographic video games? Theatrical plays at the same time on several stages? Interactive holographic avatars have only one limit, our imagination.
3D Hologram Rentals, Hypervsn and those who will come after perfecting the technology will allow interaction with increasingly clear and realistic holograms, which do not require glasses or viewers.
I don't know if interactive holograms will find a "killer application" or we'll see them pop up here and there, but I'm sure they'll show up in the future.
