Tetratuss, the tree houses for the global network
Feider created a unique design for all tree houses, and called it Tetratuss. A platform that can be changed based on location to provide lower costs and faster lead times. Treewalkers will use the O2 Treehouse design methodology to offer guests the opportunity to create a unique connection with nature. The company already has 85 custom-designed modular structures.
Why it can work
A tree house offers an incredible opportunity to break away from stress and connect with nature, but the property is not an accessible solution and therefore the rent could pay off. Also, the ecotourism industry is on the rise: it was worth $ 265 billion worldwide in 2018 and is expected to grow despite the pandemic: according to O2 Treehouse up to 14% every year.
Treewalkers is a kind of Airbnb of ecotourism: tourists who want to experience treehouse life will have a dedicated organized rental service, while potential franchisees looking for an investment opportunity will have the experience and expertise of O2 Treehouse to support them.
The company plans to start five to 15 locations using their Airbnb as their rental platform before releasing their O2 Treehouse platform for exclusive access to more than 20 treehouse locations.
