How many #fake news they circulate on # Facebook everyday? Many, many, too many. The problem arose mainly after the victory of the Trump presidential election: according to some analysts, in fact, the false or "hoax" news circulating on Facebook would have favored the Republican candidate. According to others it is all nonsense, but the idea has now made its way into the minds of many.
Mark #Zuckerberg has decided to intervene personally, reassuring users on the issue: the social network takes the problem very seriously, and indeed wants to declare open war to hoaxes. For Mark there is still a lot, a lot to do: in a post he himself states that he is working on a detection system against misinformation.
The problem is that often users, bombarded by so much news, no longer know what to believe. Zuckerberg explains that from now on more careful supervision will be implemented, thanks also to the use of technologies that will allow us to recognize cases in which the users themselves classify the news as fake. In short, we ourselves will be the "controllers": Facebook will only verify that those are truly fake news. In short, we will all be more attentive and vigilant. Will it be enough? Just think of all the users who believe the news from Lercio and other satirical sites to be true….
