#Geizeer it is the ingenious invention that can make us stay cooler without making the house ugly. It is a portable cooler invented by two undergraduates in architecture, Ferdinando Petrella and Damiano Iannini. "It's a #cube of wood 14 cm on each side - explains Ferdinando - divided into two halves: above there is a fan, underneath a rechargeable battery with USB cable, and a plastic cone containing a liquid that can remain cold for a long time ”.

Its operation is simple: the cone must be kept in the freezer and when you want to use Geizeer you insert it into the cube. So the fan starts, distributing cold air in a radius of two meters for four hours (the battery life).

And it's better than a #cooling fan, because it is also a beautiful design object that should not be hidden after the summer and which, perhaps, can be used to diffuse aromas. The idea was born thanks to crowfunding, to the bottom-up fundraiser: “We presented a video of the prototype on two sites. In two months, almost 3.500 orders have arrived: until December we will do nothing but assemble the cubes ”.
