In the last few hours, there has been an alarm #safety to #WhatsApp: all the chats would in fact be at risk of intrusion, and the alarm came directly from the States
The alarm comes directly from the United States, from Tobias Boelter, a senior cryptography and security researcher at Berkeley University, California. In fact, it seems that there is a backdoor that undermines the security of all WhatsApp conversations and that lends the side to government agencies, hackers and cyber spies. The backdoor, it seems, would be used to allow access to Facebook for all chats. A vulnerability that affects over a billion people around the world.
On April 5, 2016, the leaders of WhatsApp announced the introduction of the end to end encryption, which was supposed to make all of our chats safer. An important and long-awaited step, which apparently was not enough. The backdoor that was discovered in these hours would allow Facebook to intercept and read the messages exchanged by users, without any legal consent. A very serious fact: still no comments from WhatsApp.
