The electronic tattoo that interprets facial expressions

Read more

The project deployed in the Israeli laboratories of Tel Aviv University really has potential. Once again, new technologies are at the service of human health. This is a temporary tattoo that can detect them in real time of the wearer, thanks to electrodes made of carbon.

The tattoo, as can be seen from the photo, is applied directly to the skin, in a non-invasive way.

Each electrode can detect muscle movement and subcutaneous nerve activity. But what is such a tattoo for? In perspective, it could be used for the recovery of patients who have suffered damage or trauma to the face during the rehabilitation process.

Ma questa tecnologia potrebbe anche essere utilizzata nello studio delle emotional responses to inputs, in the advertising field for example, or in the automotive sector to check the conditions of the driver.
