Modern science is increasingly concerned with finding solutions for domestic well-being. During the summer seasons the heat can prove unbearable, especially in the hottest places and in the central hours of the day. Many people are therefore inclined to buy a conditioner, i.e. a device that conveys hot air and cools it by reintroducing it into the cold environment and therefore lowering the overall temperature of the environment.
From today these systems could be replaced by a very special invention, namely gods bricks climate made of ceramic proposed by an American company, the Emerging Objects of Los Angeles who patented the system. The bricks use an evaporation system guaranteed by the porous ceramic of which they are made, i.e. the material of their structure is able to absorb water and reduce the perceived heat in environments closed thanks toevaporation. We all know how much humidity contributes to increasing the perception of heat, while the dry heat and dry it proves more bearable.
The bricks therefore work with the technique ofevaporative cooling, or evaporative cooling. Cold vapor is added to the air to cool it and it technique reveals itself daughter of antiquity, as the Egyptian and Persian peoples already used wet grills to let hot air pass inside and therefore cool it through this simple and natural process. In this case the principle is more or less the same, but the air releases part of the water molecules it contains and enters the closed room at a lower temperature, therefore naturally refreshing the inhabited area.
This is a truly brilliant discovery, as the application of these bricks can be very useful in countries where the heat is intense, but also in city, where often the degree of humidity leads to feel a suffocating heat. Being natural products and with a balanced cost, these bricks could therefore replace the air conditioners if used in structures useful for cooling and may be perfect to be used in the warmer seasons and therefore make the rooms more fresh and livable.
