What will the camera of the future be like? Instant and vintage like an old Polaroid. Are you surprised? Maybe that's why the new camera is called Impossible!
The Impossible company, in fact, has taken over the assets of Polaroid last year, and is expected to soon launch the Impossible I-1, a new analogue camera which however develops photos instantly. Impossible was presented on May 13th in Milan: it is an instant camera that prints the image taken directly onto film.
Here are all features specifications: on the front of the camera there is a crown made up of 12 LEDs, 8 LEDs for the flash function and 4 LEDs for diffused lighting; in the upper part there is a Bluetooth viewer which represents the digital part. And not only! Impossible I-1 integrates with both iOS and Apple Watch to manage remote controls, timer, focal aperture and exposure time.
In short, analogue yes, but totally social. Impossible I-1 is on sale on the manufacturer's online website (eu.impossible-project.com) with a promotion for the launch of the camera plus three cartridges for 349.99 euros.
It has been called “the first camera of the last decade to use the original Polaroid format”. In fact, the Impossible I-1 works with black and white or color cartridges. Between the past and the future, will Impossible really be the camera we will use in the coming years?
