The Turkish company Seal Vans has created one, or rather: two amphibious caravans that can be transformed into mini yachts, to experience seamless adventures on land and sea.
Amphibians for all seasons
Founded in 2020, SealVans is based in Bursa, Turkey. Its two models of amphibious caravans, Seal 4.20m and Seal 7.50m, differ mainly in size and finish, but pursue the same goal: that of endless fun.
Once in the water, propulsion for the two amphibious "transformers" can be handled by a traditional outboard motor or an electric propulsion system.
Seal 4.20m: a new "trolley" for holidays
Seal 4.20m, with its weight of just under 750 kg, can become a small prodigy: thanks to its O1 certification it can be used as a boat without the need for additional permits (which paradoxically serve instead to tow it: in that case a specific guide).
Seal 7.50m: the caravan for the whole family
Seal 7.50m is more suitable for families. Pretty pretty even as a boat, and yes we've seen a lot: some we have also spoken. This caravan, which can have two separate bedrooms at night, has a dining area and a relaxation area where four people can comfortably live. A decently sized bathroom ensures convenience on longer journeys. This 3.000 kg vehicle has an internal height of 2 meters.
Amphibious and customized
SealVans offers customization options for the kitchen of the two amphibious caravans based on customers' color preferences and equipment needs. You can use the fridge/freezer to keep fresh produce. Also available is an integrated hob/oven and a large countertop for preparing meals on the go. Large panoramic windows guarantee ventilation and light entry, while curtains and mosquito nets keep insects out for peaceful sleep.
