The transportation industry is dying before our eyes. Or rather, it is dying but preparing to be reborn with the renewed enthusiasm of an electric butterfly.
Among the ambitious concepts entering the market, the TS electric motorcycle of the Finnish house Verge also aims to transform aesthetic standards. This EV roadster seeks to push the boundaries of design, functionality and performance with a futuristic look in the style of the TRON movie.
In this final view revealed before production, the Verge TS motorcycle shows off a colorful frame with personality on its side. The chassis was designed all in lightweight aluminum to accommodate a large battery while minimizing the load, but it also stands out for its massive and uniform appearance similar to that of a sci-fi vehicle.
The detail that attracts the most of Verge TS is, needless to say, the motor integrated into the rim without the rear wheel hub (do not worry, you change it with normal tools). An engine that also acts as a braking system.
Also forward in performance
The electric motorcycle's bold design mirrors its advanced performance. the engine offers 107 hp (80 kw) and 1.000 nm of torque, pushing it from 0-100 km / h in less than 4 seconds, with a maximum speed limited to 180 km / h. Not bad for vehicles of this type.
The large battery offers a range of 300 km in the city or 200 km on the highway, basically depending on your driving preferences. The standard charger charges it to 100% in four hours, while the optional fast charge takes just 45-50 minutes.
