Rotofarm, the zero-gravity circular garden

For those lucky enough to have one, from spring onwards there is no better way than to spend a weekend outdoors. In your garden or in a public space, the important thing is to laze in the sun and have snacks with family and friends.

Technology and trends also chase each other in this field: in this post you will find gadgets and solutions that we will see more and more frequently in the garden of the future.

Garden of the future: here are the gadgets for open spaces around the globe in the garden of the future!

1 cinéorama

The design of Erika Hock create an outdoor viewing space, to sit and watch a good movie with family and friends, in the comfort of the courtyard! Also suitable for municipal houses, it can bring people back to enjoy in the garden of the future what was once a much more widespread custom, the open-air cinema that unites and amuses everyone.

2 Noori V01

If your idea is to make a nice barbecue in the garden and you want to amaze everyone with an "American" barbecue, forget it. Stuff already seen. Save your money for it Noori V01, a versatile object to say the least. In one fell swoop you find yourself stove, barbecue, pizza oven and embers. The garden of the future is a kitchen for all occasions.

3 GrowMore

Danish architects Sine Lindholm and Mads-Ulrick Husum created this modular urban gardening project that expands in parallel with plant growth. From the small flowerbed to the small farm, two bolts and a little willpower are enough to manage all possible spaces. It won't be like the vertical farms in Singapore, but not bad as a start.

4 Sylvan Float

What about the good old tree house? The one made by The Canopy Crew, with its cute hammock-style bed, it would be just perfect. A magical place, not just for children, ideal to relax and breathe a little.

5 The Stump Light

Outdoor lighting will also enter the “nature tech” phase. Advanced technology, natural look. This looks just like a tree stump! It would blend seamlessly with your backyard. Stump Light it's an unassuming extension of nature, lighting up with low-power LEDs and automatic sensors that don't keep the light on longer than it should.

6 Schicketanz

When we say “garden of the future”, the century doesn't matter: no open space is truly happy without our animal friends. Here's one perfect little house for your puppy. Its "green" roof is a real terrace where you can bask in the sun. Small luxuries for great friends.

7 Somdoon

These wooden beds of Somdoon Architects they rise naturally from the wooden floor, blending perfectly with it. It's an example of design rather than a functional product, come to think of it: how comfortable can they be for longer periods of time? My back hurts just looking at them. But how beautiful.

8 Forest Pavilion

The Forest Pavilion shows a glimpse of the garden of the future in the concept of a large open space. For me, as I have a little girl, it's a relief to know that it's just about a prototype. The little girl would go crazy, but I would be very afraid to make her run around in this kind of "metropolis".

In short, the garden of the future is versatile, minimal but hyper-technological, centered on function. And we can't wait to spend some time there.
