She has a name that is familiar to me (my mother's) but she is not a living being: Imma is a virtual model (and today also an influencer) "owner" of a very popular Instagram account.
Imma is the fruit of the most advanced CGI techniques, but that hasn't stopped her from getting her first engagement with a Japanese makeup brand, the Kate Cosmetics.
In this typically glam photo shoot she poses to real models, in flesh and blood, and she seems indistinguishable from them.
It is not the only one
Imma is absolutely the most detailed of the virtual stars, but there are others like her, even with more followers: Lil miquela has a huge following with over 1.5 million people.
