The future of floating entertainment is here, and it's called Oceaya. This innovative project, the result of the collaboration between Waterstudio.NL and Prospect Design International, is destined to revolutionize the way we experience events on the water, in a modular and transformable arena capable of adapting to any need, from the daytime lounge to the night club, from the restaurant to the cinema and much more.
An innovative concept
Oceaya it is a multi-purpose facility that can be easily relocated to different parts of the world: a versatile destination for a wide range of activities. With a surface area that can range from 370 to over 1.115 square meters, this floating arena offers endless design and functionality possibilities. It reminds me of Vincent Callebaut's early designs: do you remember them?
Oceaya it is a testament to the infinite possibilities of design and entertainment.
Daniels Ikajevs, founder of the Oceaya project
The “total” arena paradigm
Oceaya it's not just entertainment. The platform is also suitable for hosting research projects: it can also become a traveling science city, perhaps focused on the study of marine ecosystems.
The arena will facilitate access to researchers and fund projects to combat climate change, sea level rise and to preserve marine life. A concrete commitment for a more sustainable future.
A unique experience
Oceaya aims to redefine the event experience for planners, jet-setters and adventure seekers. From its planned launch in 2025, the arena will travel to different destinations around the world during peak seasons, adapting to different needs. A unique opportunity to experience unforgettable events in a context never seen before.
It could just be the beginning of a future era in which special arenas and stadiums travel bringing events around the world, and new, unimaginable and immersive experiences. It's an ambitious project that aims to redefine the way we experience events on the water, and promises to take us to places we could only imagine until now.
Indeed: bring the places to us.
