The search for personal well-being also passes through the use of perfumes and aromas, which subtly influence our mood and health. Cement Produce Design has created a small bridge between fashion and aromatherapy: a pin called ALMA.
The discreet charm of a perfume
Smell, an often overlooked sense compared to vision and hearing, plays a crucial role in our emotional and physical well-being. Perfumes and odors can significantly influence our mood, acting as subtle regulators of psychological balance. Likewise, unpleasant odors can disturb this balance, and aromatic fragrances have the power to relax or energize.
This is why our relationship with perfumes dates back to the dawn of time, and is linked to anecdotes and legendary characters (how can we forget the partnership between Chanel n.5 and Marilyn Monroe, or between 24 Faubourg of Hermés and Lady Diana).
A relationship that ALMA aims to change.
ALMA, a new way of experiencing perfume
In daily life we are constantly exposed to a mosaic of smells, often without any control over their quality or intensity. And the habit of surrounding ourselves with a good perfume (sometimes incorrectly, for example by abusing it or covering up poor hygiene)
To this olfactory challenge, the startup Cement Produce Design has countered a refined and practical solution: the ALMA brooch. This little gadget works as a personal aroma diffuser, allowing you to carry your favorite scent with you.
Each pin, shaped like an elegant button, is actually a tiny container that can accommodate a small cotton ball soaked in aromatic oil. Once applied, the aromatic oil delicately spreads its fragrance creating a personal bubble of perfume that follows us everywhere.
A pin, less frills
The discreet shape of an ALMA brooch (shaped like a simple button) allows it to be “pinned” to any soft material, such as clothes, hats or bags, blending harmoniously with different styles and occasions.
With ALMA, the experience of wearing a perfume is transformed. It is no longer necessary to carry perfume bottles or bulky diffusers with you. A simple touch of essential oil on a pin is enough to envelop yourself in an aura of personalized fragrance: discreet, effective, with less waste.
Does the perfume of the future have the shape of a pin?
