A sauna in an old bus? Who would have thought that we would be able to create a similar project with such an innovative aesthetic?
In Japan, Sauna Ikitai decided to build a functioning sauna starting from an old disused bus. The company's knowledge and the desire to create something innovative led to the birth of "Sabus", a unique and fascinating experience.
Let's look together how the old bus has changed and what it is possible to do inside it, having fun and relaxing.

The interior of the new sauna bus
The aim of the project, ironically called "Sabus", is to give new life to a disused vehicle. The old bus has found a new identity, and has avoided being scrapped.
The internal structure has been completely changed, so as to create a comfortable space suitable for relaxation. It will be possible to use the service starting from February 2022 and, should things go well, several buses will be built in the future.
An intelligent way to also recycle means of transport, minimizing waste and creating an absolutely innovative experience.

An elegant wood stove occupies the initial part of the bus, so as to completely transform the space, making it pleasant and comfortable. Inside the structure, there are two different types of objects: some belonging to the previous use of the bus, and others directly associated with the sauna.
Bench seats and hanging leather rings that you can hang onto are among the bus's original elements.
Immersed in the hot water of the tub, you can enjoy the delicate view of the modified interiors, allowing yourself a well-deserved break.
The descent button, when pressed, activates a fun spray of water on the heated stone of the wall, thus misting the whole bus.
