One Line is an electric concept for the whole family. The design was inspired by the idea of combining multiple vehicles into one, modular one.
One Line is a modular ebike from Jungsoo Lee, but even that definition is narrow. It is actually a modular vehicle that can be transformed into different vehicles when needed.
E-scooter, ebike and e-kickboard: these three vehicles, seemingly distant from each other, are integrated into the One Line chassis, which looks so simple and yet so creative.
The characteristics of One Line
The battery is located under the seat, complete with LED lights (three) as an indicator of its power supply, in the manner of smartphones.
Designed by Jung Soo Lee (yes, I've become obsessed with it now. I showed off his skill on the occasion of the "food trucks 2.0“), One Line has a large removable basket with integrated light in the front. The rear light, on the other hand, is bright enough to make the rider visible even in low light conditions.
The "fat" that counts is missing for the concept of a modular vehicle, which is a little absurd: there are no images that show the possible transformation into the three different types of vehicle.
It would be great if we could also see the phases in which this vehicle transforms itself into a scooter, a bike or a kickboard from time to time, but I also appreciate the conceptual cue. I find it of refined elegance and essentiality.
