Innovaqua Nube SS30 is a water generator from the air. The device, which looks like a traditional "office" water column dispenser, is able to capture humidity from the environment and return fresh, clean water on demand.
An evolution is also coming to the concept of the home dehumidifier. Nube SS30 adds to the normal functions of similar devices (based on the so-called “Peltier effect”) the ability to collect and purify water from the air, obtaining water for drinking.
A lot of water. Up to 30 liters of water per day, to be more precise. Water on demand, available at the push of a button.
The Cloud SS30 purification system
Innovaqua ensures on its website that the filter system supplied with Nube SS30 is able to provide 100% ionized, alkaline and mineralized pure water, obviously free of fluorine, chlorine and other unwanted particles.
The air water generator works with a combination of filters. The first, classic activated carbon filter, carries out an initial "cleaning" of the condensation. A reverse osmosis membrane continues the work. The third step "remineralizes" the water to improve its characteristics.
The entire process takes place in a filtering "chamber" constantly subjected to UV light to eliminate any possible bacterial traces.
The result is normal mineral water, such as that which could be purchased at the supermarket.
It can be a good support for lightening loads, plastic waste and bills in places where drinking water is lacking, or where mains water does not have all the right portability characteristics.
The optional generator allows the system to be used even in the absence of a power supply: a way to ensure, for example, water on a small building site or in an external location.
Not bad, apart from the price (around 1400 euros) which forced me to sit down and drink a glass of water to recover. Of the one I had at home, the first one I found.
