Until now, in fact, Netflix subscribers who wanted to watch a film, a documentary or a TV series in streaming necessarily had to be connected to the network; from now on this will no longer be necessary. You can also watch content on the train or on the subway: just download the content we are interested in on our mobile device in advance and then we will find it there, ready to wait for us too. offline.
“So many films and series are already available for download and many more will be available soon, so there is a wide choice of titles to watch offline. For example, Orange is The New Black, Narcos and The Crown are available for download today,” said Eddy Wu, director of product innovation. The new feature, of course, works for both iOS and Android. To start downloading, you need to update the Netflix app to the latest version, click the "download" button on the product details page and watch it at your convenience.
Obviously, all downloaded content can be used as long as the Netflix subscription is active. So does Spotify, which allows paid users to download songs for offline listening. The streaming era has begun: who will watch TV anymore?
