The project Living the Noom, is among the most interesting of the last period. The idea of a united and strong community, living in harmony with nature, has slowly transformed into reality.
Sanzpont (arquitectura) and Pedrajo + Pedrajo Architects are responsible for the project, the proud authors of “Living the Noom”.
The first “Noom” community is located in Cancun, a city in Mexico. The innovative style and the well-being of citizens is the signature of the architects, who have brought forward something absolutely unusual.
The main objective is to create a complete lifestyle focused on activities that improve well-being. The proximity to nature is just a small example.
Living the Noom's green community
Bamboo is the element of choice for most constructions. The houses of Living the Noom are surrounded by green plants, all cheerful and “calming” in appearance. The roof is shared, and the different apartments are joined through the use of bridges. The various areas include deck chairs, community gardens and areas dedicated to socializing.
Residents can organize fun picnics and grow community food at the same time.
A swimming pool is located in the center of the condominium, so as to bind the individual residents even more. Elegant seating areas in the shape of a pyramid are located along the edges, thus allowing for communication.
The idea is precisely to create a strong and lasting union. Animals are also welcome, as the city remains completely pet friendly. Then there are areas where you can observe brilliant works of art, massage centers, gyms and yoga rooms.
The apartments are built to satisfy the needs of residents, offering them well-designed spaces. The lighting a LED , as well as the addition of solar panels, contribute to transforming the community into a "green", sustainable and environmentally friendly village.
