The future of man is threatened by his own activities: if consumption habits, compulsiveness and illicit activities are not curbed, the near future will be full of unknowns and threats for the entire human species. In the meantime, it is above all animal species that pay the costs.
The report is very recent International Union for Conservation of Nature, an organization that monitors the environment and suggests proactive solutions to ensure its defense: 25% of all mammals on the planet are at serious risk of extinction. Tigers, bears, elephants, dolphins, sea turtles and other animals important to our planet could follow the fate of the ecosystems in which they currently live and reproduce: as if that were not enough, the illicit activity of clandestine trade and poaching contributes to worsen the situation and speed up the process. The WWF has always been involved in missions and activities to safeguard endangered species: this year they have extended to new species that are unfortunately in danger, and there is an ever-increasing need to support the complex activity of researchers and experts, anti-poaching patrols, rehabilitators who release an animal cured of mistreatment and injuries or removed from illegal trade. To raise funds and strengthen its initiatives, the adoption campaign has started again this year wWF.
CHRISTMAS GIVE A FRIEND
I have always believed in things like this: beyond charitable initiatives, it is important in certain cases to spread gestures of generosity, and humble silence does not help animals. This is the reason why at Christmas I will entrust the custody of new animal friends to my loved ones, inviting them to adopt a species and giving adoptions myself: it is a concrete way to save bears, elephants, tigers, pandas, sea turtles and other species. The importance of this new campaign adoptions of the WWF is in the defense not only of the animal, but of its entire habitat: it would be impossible to give well-being to someone without making them live in a healthy environment, You understand? Yes, we will protect one of the 12 iconic species, and with it all that surrounds it: adopting a polar bear, for example, we will also be able to arctic foxes, sea lions, penguins, and give us a nice gesture.
ADOPTIONS
All WWF adoptions reward the new father (or new mother) with small attentions: here are what. Simple adoption (starts at €30): we receive a letter from Fulco Pratesi, a sheet on the characteristics and risks faced by the species we have adopted, the adoption certificate, a big map with the WWF action areas and a sticker to place on the area that we protected with our gesture. Adoption with Plush (starts at €50): In addition to the simple adoption materials we will receive a WWF plush toy (made according to much more rigorous requirements than existing regulations, without PVC and without toxic substances) which represents the chosen species. A tender friend who will remind us of that, in flesh and blood, who lives thanks to our help. Adoption Trio (starting from 125 €) is dedicated to the 4 large habitats shared by the species: polar trio (polar bear, seal, penguin), asian threesome (tiger, orangutan and panda), African trio (cheetah, elephant and chimpanzee), Italian trio (brown bear, wolf and dolphin). For each trio we will receive the three soft toys, the respective kits and the maps: the adoption certificates can also be personalized with different names (we can give a pet each to three friends or relatives: a Christmas of savings and commitment, what's there is it better?) For a 'zero impact' adoption, you can choose "The WWF you”(Starts from € 30): we will receive the WWF panda surrounded by a little heart, which allows you to receive a screensaver, a desktop background and a digital signature directly via email.
