Plan de Corones: When does the ski season open?
The ski season at Crown Plan (Kronplatz) begins on November 29, 2025, and will end on April 19, 2026. Winter sports enthusiasts therefore have a long period of enjoyment ahead of them. At the beginning and end of the season, due to weather conditions, the ski area may be limited.
As detailed on the official website of the ski area, almost 500 hectares of land are used for preparing the slopes on Plan de Corones. In fact, considering an average width of 40 m per slope, skiers have approximately 121 km long.
It should also be noted that the shuttle service Skibus Piculin connects the Kronplatz area to the one of theAlta Badia, while the train Ski-Pustertal-Express allows connection with the Tre Cime Dolomiti area.
