Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have personal air conditioning to beat the summer heat wherever you are? Well, you're not alone. For some time now (especially in the microcosm of crowdfunding) there have been more or less bizarre solutions circulating to try to give relief to people in an increasingly torrid world. There are even "attempts" by listed companies such as Sony e Panasonic. How do you say? Are they Japanese? Sorry, what does this have to do with anything? :) In any case, on Indiegogo I have now found this “Sparkle Tornado” which is second to none in terms of bizarreness: it is a silicone belt that acts as a personal air conditioner for the wearer!
Not one, but five fans
Sparkle Tornado promises to live up to its name by producing a real "mini tornado" (yes, right...) thanks to its five fans positioned around the belt. They are designed, I read on the crowdfunding campaign page, to blow cold air upwards refreshing the entire length of the body. And the legs? Alright. Anyway, with three cooling levels you can choose the power that best suits your needs.
Wanting to delve deeper, the fans move up to 585 liters of air per minute: a remarkable figure if you consider that the fans (combined) are 50 centimeters in total. The device is powered by a 12-volt battery that lasts about three hours of continuous use. Then you can also die, or try to survive at least another hour: this is the time needed to recharge the "freshness" belt. If you don't want to make the pitstop, you can always attach a nice power bank to your belt and tell people that you're miked.
Air conditioning belt: completely personal considerations
It doesn't matter how hot this summer is, right? Thanks to Sparkle Tornado you can always maintain your ideal temperature. Perhaps. Jokes aside, it would be important to evaluate the effectiveness of the device in different situations and for different types of people, as well as considering any comfort problems during use.
