Yolochka is a revolutionary personal cabin concept for night trains created by the 2050.Lab design studio. With its design devoted to maximum comfort, the place becomes a comfortable and welcoming personal space, perfect for relaxing, working or sleeping.
A design inspired by nature
Yolochka, which means fir in Russian, is reflected in its design which recalls the shape of a fir tree. The cabins are arranged diagonally from the entrance, making the sleeping spaces longer and the aisle wider: an efficient use of space that offers greater freedom of movement on board.

Thanks to this layout inspired by nature, the space in the cabins is optimized, increasing comfort for each passenger. The open space is ideal for traveling as a family or with a group of friends, but at the same time offers privacy thanks to a sliding curtain that allows you to isolate yourself from external noise.
Space and comfort for everyone
Yolochka's concept features customized cabins/pods, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and peaceful journey. Each cabin has space for luggage and clothes, a personal table, individual lighting and chargers for devices. The goal, as mentioned, is to offer luxurious comfort even in economy class, allowing you to work and rest inside your cabin.

The stairs leading up to the upper level seats are designed with soft pads, allowing passengers to lean on them without obstructing the passage.
In summary, the "sui generis" idea of this studio of Russian design looks winning. It can optimize spaces, widen the audience for overnight trips to a wider audience and significantly reduce prices: objectives more than within the reach of those who adopt this approach to design.
One day soon this idea of space management will become a real standard. And it will be a great journey.
