It was the theme of 2022, and we find it at the center of the debate again this year: will artificial intelligence replace human jobs? Or rather: HOW MANY human jobs will it replace?
There are two schools of thought: there are those who are convinced it is only a matter of time for sufficiently perfected algorithms to do things that today seem possible only for human intelligences. Then there are those who are convinced that technology will never be able to create truly unique and original ideas anyway.
However you think, there is no denying that artificial intelligence will have a very significant impact on business processes in almost all jobs and industries. To be prepared for the future, it's important to start building skills that can withstand the degree of automation that jobs will experience.
Here are 3 skills (technical skills, for language purists) that artificial intelligence, at least the current one, cannot completely replace: indeed, it can enhance them.
1 Programming and coding

Of course, already today artificial intelligence helps in writing and developing programs, but its current capabilities make it useful primarily as a process automater.
To develop sophisticated programs you need (and how) human interaction. It is necessary to relate and synergize the many aspects that distinguish a successful application: the system architecture, the software design, its security.
For this reason, testing and improving one's knowledge of different languages and platforms will make human programming and coding work still indispensable.
Of course, you will be able to strengthen your skills by learning how to train the artificial intelligence to speed up and simplify things.
2 Content writing

AI writing tools are advancing rapidly, and some believe they can already use them to completely replace writers and copywriters.
brake. AI language models, such as GPT-3, generate human-like sentences by analyzing and processing millions of relevant and classified web pages, but they cannot "invent". Not yet, at least.
Text generated by artificial intelligence is coherent and grammatically correct, but can be stiff and unoriginal. For this reason, the skills of the excellent copywriter of the future will be to bring creativity to the content creation process, also wisely dosing the material produced by platforms such as ChatGPT and those to come.
Again, the jobs that will thrive will be those that can "ride" AI.
3 All, absolutely all jobs related to marketing and advertising

AI appears to be a simple solution for creating large-scale marketing campaigns, but it's not what many think.
Using AI tools to generate images, text and analysis for ads, it is already possible to plan, develop and launch a campaign. To obtain effective results, however, these works must be optimized with the human factor, to adapt them exactly to the needs of the target audience.
I speak of everything: from images to texts, passing through marketing strategies and the key factor, which at the moment is impossible by definition for an artificial intelligence. Which? The ability to stand out from the competition.
In a sea of AI ads that consumers they will receive more and more often, that feeling of stereotype will grow more and more. Successful campaigns will be the ones that stand out, customized in details that only a human being can think of, or feel and appreciate.
The same goes for those who create websites or graphics, so consider all the jobs related to these aspects as part of the list.
Complementary, not alternative to human work
In summary, even if artificial intelligence can (partly) imitate the functioning of the human brain, it is not able to autonomously carry out complex and above all creative tasks.
It's important to keep in mind that even the most advanced AI technologies need human intervention. Instead of fearing that they might replace you, focus on improving your skills. The doctor didn't say that in certain aspects and works an artificial intelligence cannot beat you.
On others, however, we can only lose if we don't cultivate ourselves.
