Elon Musk's desire to create a new social media is certainly no secret: this theory has been circulating on the web for months, and the latest updates seem to confirm it.
The multibillion-dollar entrepreneur who owns the Tesla (and Neuralink, And Boring company etc.) has recently published a tweet in which he says he is "thinking seriously about building a new social platform". In his tweet, Musk answered questions from some users, interesting about the possibility of creating a new social media.
How did it go?

One user, in particular, had asked Musk if he was willing to create a platform based on an open source algorithm; while a second user had questioned the entrepreneur on the possibility of keeping the freedom of speech intact.
Musk responded by saying that his goal (should the project be completed) is to create a space that gives users "all the freedom of speech" they deserve.
A social media that ensures free speech?
Elon Musk is known for his "consistent" presence on the Twitter platform. He has never denied that he appreciates the social network, but he has doubts about the policies implemented by Twitter in recent times. Above all, he believes that social media is undermining democracy, without respecting the principles of free speech.
A few days ago he posted a tweet on his profile, a survey asking users if they think Twitter adheres to the principle of free speech.
Apparently, over 70% of users voted "no", fueling Mask's intention to create a new social media.
The consequences of this survey will be important. Please vote carefully.
This is the phrase that accompanied the tweet, and that started speculation about the creation of the new social media.
Should Musk decide to proceed, he would have access to a huge audience. Many users, in fact, feel that their freedom of speech has been silenced by the platforms and feel the need to express themselves. No other company has made it to the level of Twitter and Facebook, but the power of Elon Mask may be more than enough.
