The debate on the future of travel has been alive for two years: the pandemic "parenthesis" has made the picture uncertain. We don't know what will happen in the coming months, but we know that there are many possible answers.
A young Polish industrial designer has recently presented a concept which can be considered by people who believe in car pooling. Mikolay Nicer collaborated with Ford of Europe to create a completely unique vehicle design. The project was created last year with the aim of improving the interior of a car pooling vehicle in response to changing contexts.

Autonomous car pooling: shared but private journey?
Regardless of the difficulties we face, we are all still thinking about how to improve our lives in many ways, at home, at work and even in everyday transport. Getting from one place to another is still essential: car pooling groups have been around for decades, but as the social distance allowed increases, the necessary precautions have increased. Especially for commuters, privacy is more important than ever.
Clint is a solution for people who want flexibility and privacy even while in the confined space of a shared vehicle.

What is Clint like, an autonomous vehicle for private car pooling?
The interior of the Clint is the centerpiece of the entire design project. Each passenger has his own separate entrance. The space can be customized for all specific needs. Although autonomous vehicles are still in their infancy, it is fascinating to think about their many possibilities, even for car pooling.
The Clint offers several modes. There is Social mode where all passengers can interact. There Couple Mode it is for two people. There Privacy Mode it is for those who really want to be alone and be separated from other passengers.

A future of modular transport
The interior design of the car pool vehicle is really interesting. Invite to become smart and sustainable. Clint's cockpit looks like a futuristic business class seat on your favorite airline. There is also a small table where you can place your smartphone or laptop, just like inside the plane. And that's just one of the countless examples.
