The Rod of Iron Ministries, a gun-worshipping church, has formed alliances with far-right figures in the United States.
The Pennsylvania-based sect, also known as “The World of Peace and Unification Sanctuary,” is led by pastor Hyung Jin 'Sean' Moon. A singular minister of religion, who often shows off (even in church) a sumptuous AR-15 machine gun all in gold and a crown of bullets. Moon is the son of another "evangelist", that reverend sun myung moon founder of the “Unification Church” self-proclaimed Messiah, officiating mass weddings at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Reports recently emerged that the group has purchased a 52-hectare (130-acre) property in Tennessee as a “training center” and retreat. A place comparable to Cheongpyeong, where followers of the “Moon Senior” had previously gathered in South Korea. As part of its expansions, the Church has also contacted key far-right figures.
A warlike church
Earlier this month Moon Junior spoke at the Freedom Festival, an event that attracts thousands of attendees each year, speaking to crowds of gun rights supporters. In his heartfelt sermon, which his cult calls the “King's Report,” he said that big tech companies and other high-profile figures “will completely kill America and wipe freedom off the face of the Earth… if the torch of freedom will be extinguished in America, the world will enter a kingdom of hell on Earth.”

In addition to the leader of the “warlike” church, those invited to the event included Loesch Fund, the spokesperson for the NRA (National Rifle Association, the organization that acts in favor of firearms owners), Steve Bannon (former advisor to Donald Trump) and the founder of Patriot Prayer, Joey Gibson.
Moon's Church and the “War on the Deep State”
Among the theses expressed by Moon, one of all is the most popular. The “church of guns” discusses the impending war with the Deep State, the invisible government and supra-political that would decide the fate of the planet according to dynamics similar to those expressed in the conspiracy theory of QAnon.
“The internationalist Marxist globalists are trying to start a civil war here,” Moon says “So they can bring in the UN troops and the Chinese Chi-Com army to come in and destroy and kill all the gun holders, supporters of the Christian church and any opposition, i.e. Trump supporters."
Religious fanatics and arms associations: ingredients which, I fear, will become a permanent fixture (legitimately or speciously) in the next American presidential campaign. At a guess it will start very soon: last time we really witnessed a 'almost civil war'.
