Who doesn't like the campground, or at least the idea of camping? You, nature, your beautiful chair and lots of tranquility (yes, we tend to remove the negative aspects). One thing, however, is terrible for everyone: putting up the tent. What are these extra pegs? And where is the entrance now? No, I'm not crying, a stone hit my eye.
A trio of innovative designers (Sungha Lim, Hyunmook Lim e Han Kim) of theSouth Korean Yong In University Try to make history by unveiling the concept of a brilliant new type of tent that will make camping breakdowns a thing of the past. Say hello to Camping Ciambella!
Camping Donut, the hole with the tent around it
The smart, futuristic design of this donut-shaped (do I really need torus? come on) tent makes setup a breeze and offers a customizable, modular shape that can be adjusted to fit all your needs.
The tubular camping donut can be transformed into four primary shapes that I would assimilate to that of the letters I, C, S and O.
When the donut curtain is set up I-shaped, you have two separate rooms and a shared recreational space. There C shape it's similar, except that its design naturally blocks wind from three directions, making it a great shelter for your campfire. Both of these forms can accommodate 2 to 4 people. The S shape of the donut tent offers tons of space and windproof capacity. Finally, the O-shaped tent is the classic donut shape: a circle that blocks the wind from all directions and provides a common one where all campers can relax.
Easy to assemble and disassemble
When camping is over and it's time to return to miserable everyday life, simply fold the donut and put it back in its compact case. When the "tube" has closed it finds its place on the roof of the car or in the trunk: game over.
Currently, as mentioned, Camping Ciambella is just a concept: no prices, no release date, sorry. But it works great for me and I expect it to come on sale in the very near future! Until then, I'll let someone else set up the tent while I pretend to make a fire.
