If they had told me two years ago that I would work more from home than in my agency, I would have laughed a lot. And if they had told me that it would have been like this for most of the world's inhabitants, well ... Yet it went like this.
We all know how things have changed for each of us during the pandemic: homes have become offices (and much more). Today, on the eve of a return to normality, the future "ubiquitousAnd flexible work is emerging clearly.
In such a scenario, a laptop or phone may not be enough. When the advance of digitalization has fundamentally changed the world and working from anywhere, anytime has become the standard, the flexible office developed by Xtend will really make sense.

Nomadic, goodbye to fixed positions in the future
Conceived to enable a "mobile, flexible and self-sufficient workplace", Nomadic includes a large folding computer screen, an adaptable screen and a digital unit, a sort of modified super smartphone: together they make up an entire office. The incredibly futuristic layout is a concept that shows us the future opportunity to create a workspace wherever life takes us.

Super flexible, super light
The foldable screen allows you to carry a large display in a backpack. The "wings" for privacy also support the structure of the screen, and the digital unit (which acts as keyboard, trackpad, power supply) breaks down any obstacles in terms of size and weight. It seems to look at the PCs of the future in science fiction movies.
The peripheral connections are all wireless, through bluetooth or mirroring. In the "radical" concept, the central unit is powered by inductive charge, and thus powers the display: in the near future the whole system would be powered indoors with a WiTricity.
What to say? The comparison with the present already sounds funny, like when we remember the old, huge PC cabinets. In the weight of a kilo there would be the equivalent of 5-10 kg today.
