Here is a much more spectacular TV than the programs it broadcasts.
C Seed is a company no stranger to developing wacky TVs, but its latest microLED device definitely raises the bar to the next level. And it does it in a gigantic way.
The M1 just announced by the Austrian company is a foldable 4K MicroLED television. The TV rises from the floor like a robot when it's time to watch yet another cartel game or the latest episode of your favorite series.
This would be enough to make the M1 noteworthy, but also the dimensions of this MicroLED TV are really considerable.
165 inches: a small MicroLED cinema
Don't ask me what needs to be done to install it: I might as well go crazy. The fact is that when you sit down to watch a movie or something else, a slot hidden in the floor opens.
A column rises quickly and once in place unfolds the MicroLED screen like a fan, or an old map
Once opened, the TV "docks" with the base and is ready to watch. A retractable TV, in other words, which embodies the most unbridled luxury.
Foldable luxury
I would ignore the quality of the images: the 164-inch MicroLED screen offers them in the crystal-clear quality of 4K. The sections of the display join together without showing the slightest sign between one panel and another, by virtue of a proprietary technology called Adaptive Gap Calibration. The sound is no different: incorporated into the aeronautical aluminum frame of the TV there's a pair of 250-watt speakers and a 700-watt subwoofer.
C Seed announces the M1 as the “world's first 165-inch foldable MicroLED TV.” And a technical innovation like that doesn't come cheap. The set costs the abnormal sum of 400.000 euros, and is not even the largest ever produced by the company.
The largest TV palm of the C Seed belongs to a 301-inch model: it is not microled, but designed for outdoors.
A mastodon that resists even the fury of the elements, with a structure of 8 meters by 6.
