Made from 45% bio-based material, this solar charger for electronic devices mimics nature.
Raise your hand if you don't like a nice bouquet of flowers. It must be said that there are some wonderful ones, and among my favorites there is the sunflower. Could this be why this Sunshine Solar Charger immediately caught my attention? I do not know. And no one has ever sent me a bunch of sunflowers anyway, so take note while I explain what it is.
XD Design took inspiration from MY favorite flower (repetita iuvant) to create this super cute solar charger. Sunshine Solar Charger really looks like a bunch of sunflowers with their noses turned up. And they have good reason for it, given that the energy they need comes from the sun.
Sunshine Solar Charger, he always looks for the sun
Equipped with a 25000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery that stores all the energy produced by our star, the solar charger has power to spare for cell phones or tablets.
The solar panels integrated in the center of the flowers and a wise combination of materials make this charger like no other.
And that's not all: Sunshine Solar Charger is half made using bio-based material derived from plants rather than petroleum derivatives. Its production process is also quite ecological.
The biomaterial chosen is made from corn processing waste. For this reason its "genesis" impacts 35% less on the environment compared to plastic derivatives.
Sustainability above all
If we look at this charger like a small child (of a generation that also includes other smart gadgets and capable of look for energy yourself) we understand future trends.
Imagine a small accumulator made entirely of natural material, which collects energy in many ways (solar and radiative cooling) both from day and night. Our devices will always have the possibility to work even without the mains.
