Being stopped by a policeman in the USA may not be a pleasant experience. We have had news many times of delicate situations and then ended well, but everything does not always go smoothly.
Secondo Reuben Brewer, senior engineer of robotics research at the department of applied technologies and science of SRI International (ATSD) and "father" of the police robot, an arrest can even become traumatic or dangerous.

Brewer now has big plans for his cop robot.
“This police robot prototype is a work in progress that I started in my garage, and now work at SRI International. Of course, it represents only part of the solution to the problem of violence in situations like this, but I hope that one day it can save lives.", he concludes.
