Those who follow Futuroprossimo have long known that their host, myself, has a passion for tiny houses and in general for all intelligent housing solutions, which with less space enhance the creativity of the designers. I've talked about it often (, promising, , promising, , promising, and elsewhere around the site), and today I present another good news in the sector.
If you're an outdoor person, you know there's always a demand for cool new camper designs (stand alone or towable), and this teardrop camper from Droplet (nomen omen) happens to be one of these. This trinket is perfect for anyone who wants to travel light! Weighing just 450kg the trailer can be attached to almost any car. I really like Droplet, because it has the right mix of indoors and outdoors, with large windows, a large door and even an outdoor kitchen.
Made entirely of aluminum laminate, foam and wood, the trailer it is extremely light and resistant. In fact, the designer took inspiration for his construction from the building of boats and airplanes and adopted a technique that makes very little use of screws.
Droplet, live en plein air
The interior has a dome shape, which lets in plenty of sunlight and fresh air. A full-sized bed (generous) offers enough space for a good sleep, with two wardrobes and two shelves serving as complements. As mentioned above, the kitchen is accessible from the outside and is equipped with a two-burner burner, a sink and an acrylic worktop. A 12-volt slide-out refrigerator protects all perishable foods and a hand shower provides fresh water.
Oh, and did I mention that it is also environmentally friendly?
A 100W solar panel harnesses solar energy, and Droplet also boasts two EcoFlow River power boxes! In addition to its impressive features and functionality, Droplet showcases a clean, minimal aesthetic and is perfect for your next outdoor adventure.
