Magnificent in its essentiality, this concept of a walking stick can also offer a seat if necessary.

Tri Cane is a walking stick designed around the needs of those who use it, providing much more than support when walking.

Its innovative design allows it to open quickly and effortlessly to become a stool that rests on three legs.

Here is a video showing it in action:

The designer, Jordan Lau Tsz Chun, is super satisfied with his creation: "The solutions available at the moment are strange hybrids that are uncomfortable to carry around," says Chun. "They are often insufficient both as a support and as a seat. Their bulky presence underlines the user's dependence on these tools, thus discouraging their use ".

On the other hand, design prizes are not won by chance Red Dot Design Concept Award and the James Dyson Award for 2019.

Tri Cane has a minimal design which perfectly matches the quiet and daily use both as a walking stick and as a stool, and which does not constitute any obstacle to transport.

The object with the right philosophy: designed for those with difficulties, also useful for the "able-bodied".
