In #China have solved the problem of resistance to #shopping online of more traditionalist and less computerized consumers, and also the risk for businesses of losses related to rejected items because they are different from those expected.
The solution is simple, and is spreading throughout the Asian continent: the#insurance for online shopping. Eastern giants of e-commerce offer it, like Alibaba (the Chinese eBay). The latter in 2016 had 300 million users who chose to make use of these micro-policies.
The prizes range from a few cents to a few euros and are used to ensure a very wide range of cases: from the payment of the return costs to the reimbursement guarantee for goods damaged in transport. Who buys these micropolyses? Apart from the companies, which want to protect themselves from losses, there are consumers who are more attentive to discounts and special offers, that is, those who risk more often to be disappointed by what they find in the package.
