One of the #Google Car being tested was hit by a second car that had gone through red. Unfortunately, the software does not conceive of “wrong” human choices, such as that of going through red. Who is wrong?

This is the worst #accident never registered for a Google car and the fault, the company claims, lies with a human. The autonomous car, a Lexus SUV, she was crossing an intersection when she was hit by another car that passed red. Thankfully, no injuries, and only damage to the passenger door for the Google Car.

«Every day there are thousands of accidents on US roads and go with red is the main cause, ”the company said in a press release. Google then puts all the blame on humans, but one human would have understood that the other was going red and would have braked. In short, the problem of robots is us, unpredictable and incorrect. The only way to make the streets safe for robots would be to use only a # autonomous driving.
