The famous South African businessman #ElonMusk (naturalized American), has the dream of bringing humanity up #Mars, and more generally on space travel open to all. In its past, it has created an electronic payment giant like PayPal, Tesla Motors cars, and now wants to get to Mars at all costs.
In a crowded press conference held in Guadalajara, in Mexico, Musk explained how he intends to colonize the red planet. Here is his plan: the first rockets, about 17 meters in diameter, could start in 20-30 years and should be able to carry about 100 people at a time; the journey will take about 80 days, which could soon become 30.
According to Musk, going to Mars should cost "how to buy a house», a figure that experts estimate close to 200 thousand dollars. Going to Mars won't be risk-free either, though: "If you're willing to die – said Musk – you can volunteer." And not even colonization seems that far away: "By building many spaceships, in 40-100 years we will have colonized the Red Planet."
