The next smartphone Samsung he could have two displays. The first foldable smartphone was announced in 2017, but other models could hit the market in the future. It's today's news which was filed from Samsung, at the end of 2015, a patent describing one smartphone with two screens separated; no news, for now, if this patent will materialize into something real.
About four years ago, Samsung filed for a smartphone patent dual display, which had two touch panels side by side and rotating around a zipper. The goal was to have a viewing surface wider for videos, TV, films, ebooks and games. The new patented product is now aimed above all at business users and students who take notes with a stylus. This smartphone is lighter, since it does not have a zip.
The integrated cover allows you to join the two displays, which however they have different functions. To the left we have some components (cameras, microphones and buttons), while on the right there is processor, memory, battery with wireless charging, sensors and antennas.
We don't know yet if this device will ever be made, but surely Samsung has something in mind.
