Facebook takes a step forward and becomes a telecommunications operator. Through his account, in fact, he was the founder himself, Mark Zuckerberg, to present Open Cellular. What is Open Cellular? It is an open do-it-yourself wi-fi connection that facilitates the creation of a network to connect in countries that cannot afford it. Zuckerberg's commitment to this topic has always been known to all.

Mark explained that the system is the size of a shoe box and is capable of serving up to 1.500 people within 10 kilometers. "Traditional infrastructures can be very expensive and it is difficult to extend the network in rural areas and sometimes even in the most developed ones," said Kashif Ali, Facebook engineer.

To date, in fact, 4 billion people do not have Internet access; Facebook's challenge is to bring a wi-fi connection all over the world.
