We've been talking about the iCar for a very long time: it's the electric car that Apple is about to create. According to the latest rumours, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), he would build a secret laboratory in the heart of Berlin to develop his own iCar. To break the news is the Faz, which adds other details on the project called "Titan", revealed last year by the Wall Street Journal.
In Berlin there would be around 15-20 men and women, leading exponents of the German automotive world, to create the car of the future, on the international market by 2020. People who come from the most diverse fields, including software, hardware, engineering and sales.
In addition to the technical aspects, the group would also be working on possible cooperation in Germany, the procedure required for registration and the progress made so far by the competition on electric vehicles.
The iCar is expected to be marketed in 2019 or 2020, and is expected to be built in Austria. The German newspaper Faz mentions the name of Magna, the supplier of the Austro-Canadian billionaire Frank Stronach who was running to take over Opel a few years ago.
