Ok, so many people love a relaxing visit to the manicure, but it's definitely an interval that not everyone can afford.

And don't tell me that there are virtuosos of nail art around who can paint the faces of your children or your dog on your nails. Tensator Technology has developed Fingernails2Go, a nail printer integrated into an automatic digital kiosk. It is able to create all sorts of designs and apply it to the nails in a matter of seconds. Do I need to be clearer? Nail press machine. Nail art printer, for those who love neologisms.

More than a 3d nail printer, it looks like a real "nail art robot": it is easy to imagine cybernetic hands spreading the nail polish

Pros and cons of nail printers

The PROs seem to prevail at the moment, taking for granted the refinement of technology. Nail art printers are:

  • Fast;
  • precise;
  • Wide range of designs;
  • Easy to use.

And the cons? Until these devices are sufficiently perfected, it is also necessary to consider the possibility of:

  • Poor quality prints;
  • Printer jams;
  • Enamel does not dry fast enough;
  • Stains on the prints.

You select a drawing already done (there are more than 10.000, constantly updated) or it is supplied through a USB key. You pay with paper money or credit card, insert one finger at a time into the machine (it is so much "mouth of truth") and wait a few seconds.

Meanwhile, a camera detects the size and shape of the nail and sends the instructions to a thermal printing device. One layer of ink, one protective layer and off you go, here are some stunning nails straight from a digital nail printer!

Needless to say, nail prints with nail art printers can have a much more detailed quality than the work done by a nail artist. Although undoubtedly these are much better processes because they are handmade, and not printed by a nail art printer.

What if we don't have long enough nails? Here, too, the nail press machine takes care of it with an assortment worthy of a nail art center. The press kiosk also provides fake ones already prepared by the nail printer. The nail art machine is unrivaled. It's On demand, with no waiting times. Or you can take advantage of the proprietary app (for android and iphone) that decorates the nails based on your own personalized images.

Hard times even in Italy for those who have done long and complicated nail art courses and worked hard to decorate their nails with real miniature works of art. Although something tells me that a true nail artist will never fade.

There is no data on the price, at least on the official website of the machine. Everything suggests that it is a bloodbath, other than a nail press: who cares? Look how beautiful they are :)
