Spanish designer Manel Torres has developed in partnership with a team of researchers from Imperial College London the first spray-on dress that can be worn, washed and reused.
To 'spray' a t-shirt directly on our skin takes about 15 minutes. The compound, made up of non-toxic polymers and solvents, allows the liquid part to evaporate within a few minutes, leaving behind a garment that can be reused and adapts like a glove to the wearer's measurements.
Other materials can also be added to the fibers in micronized form, such as wool and cotton: the clothes thus obtained can be worn in winter as in summer.
