Our planet needs a small overhaul: with an economy increasingly in crisis and an epochal transition from an energy system based on fossil fuels to another (hopefully ever closer) that focuses entirely on renewables, our presence activity is increasingly important to guarantee new generations greater freedom, greater variety of species and less pollution.
We can do a lot: an important principle that will be able to keep our ecosystem standing is certainly the one that sees the protection of animal species at the center of our policies: our 'traveling companions' on Earth are increasingly threatened by indiscriminate expansion of industrial production, poaching and ever-increasing pollution. Due to these phenomena, the 'slice' of Nature that includes free and clean air and water, natural resources and places to live is decreasing month by month.
The WWF has always protected the green part of our planet and our lives: the WWF Oases were born and developed with the precise objective of protecting Nature by lightening our impact on the environment. Thousands and thousands of injured and sick animals are treated and returned to their natural habitat, species in danger of extinction (unfortunately more and more numerous: they now also include wolves, tigers, bears, whales, gorillas, eagles, turtles...) are protected and protected from the indiscriminate destruction of the vital spaces that ensure their survival.
My generation (that of the 70s) was born in a sort of 'chemical vacuum' placed right in the middle, between the end of the Cold War and the beginning of the new millennium. We have known a world in which it was possible to call home with a token, live more informally and in less polluted spaces, and find ourselves in families that are a little more cohesive and less economically devastated: we are witnessing a degradation that no one wants to pass on to those who come after . What do you think about it?
The future also means being able to give our children the hope that the clean fabric of our planet is slowly repairing itself, that there is a reversal of the trend, that the climate will once again fluctuate according to the movements of the planet and not of the industries, that Nature and Man can coexist peacefully again.
The most important natural resources are in our heads and in our hearts: let's renew them and produce good energy, we have 5x5 valid reasons to do so. The 8 x 1000 wwf does not exclude the possibility of giving the XNUMX×XNUMX to other organizations or religious denominations: perhaps the salvation of the soul goes well with the salvation of the planet, what do you think?
